Cherry Italian Ice

Cherry Italian Ice

Here’s what you need:

3 cups cherries, pitted and sliced in half

1 TBS fresh lemon juice

3 TBS honey

3 cups ice cubes

sprigs of mint for serving (optional)

Here is what you need to do:

Take a loaf pan and put it in your freezer for at least an hour.

Put the cherries in a blender and process on a high speed for 20 to 30 seconds. Add in honey, lemon juice and ice. Blend until smooth.

Pour the cherry mixture into you very cold loaf pan. Cover with foil and put in the freezer for at least 8 hours, or overnight.

Use an ice cream scooper gently shave the cherry ice and put into glass serving bowls. Garnish with mint if desired. Let’s Eat!!
