Artificial intelligence is giving a Parkland shooting victim a new voice. Joaquin Oliver was 17 when he was killed in the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Broward County. His parents released an AI-generated video of Joaquin speaking out against gun violence in a mock sit-down with former CNN host Jim Acosta. Joaquin's father, Manuel, says AI is an amazing tool to raise Joaquin's voice.
Manuel Oliver says he doesn't want to remember his son as a victim but as a 17-year-old that's becoming an icon.
